Kylie Ujdur In 2006, Kylie brought Kindermusik to life in In 2007, she was joined by Jillian Hargrave and Steph Ayre, both whom she had worked with while teaching at primary school. Steph left at the end of 2007 to focus on her family, and by early 2008, Jillian and Kylie joined forces to become “Kindermusik with Kylie and Jill”. With their passion for music education heading in the same direction, it only seemed natural that Kylie and Jill would continue working together to create what is now Musikal Kids! Having resided in Kylie has a constant thirst for knowledge and is always seeking ways to expand her skills and knowledge in music. She plays the clarinet and saxophone and loves the uplifting beat of the djembe! Growing up in “Not many people can truly say that they love their job, but I am one of the lucky few! I get to work alongside my business partner Jill, whose patience and support is eternal, as well as transforming the lives of people by sharing music with them. I don’t consider this work - I consider it an absolute privilege!”

Jillian Hargrave BA/Grad Dip Ed (double major in education and psychology) Qualified Primary School Teacher Qualified Kindermusik Educator Jill has been living in the Goldfields for over 15 years now and loves teaching Kindermusik and co-directing Musikal Kids with Kylie. She is married to her wonderful and supportive husband Lawrence with three gorgeous children-Connor, aged 11yrs, Lily, 7yrs and Emma, 3yrs. Jill is a qualified primary school teacher and has worked at a local Goldfields primary school as music specialist in both a full-time and part-time capacity since 1994. She began the Kindermusik training in late 2006 and became a fully licensed and qualified Kindermusik educator in 2007. She began teaching Kindermusik alongside Kylie and Kindermusik with Kylie & Jill was born. Since then they have seen the business go from strength to strength and grow and evolve into Musikal Kids. Jill has been involved in musical activities since her own primary school days! She plays the French Horn, which she studied for TEE music and has played in various concert bands and orchestras around Perth. Over the years she has also sung in choirs and has utilised this vocal training when directing her school choirs in her role as Music Specialist. "I am so thrilled to have discovered Kindermusik and had this amazing opportunity to launch and co-direct Musikal Kids. I love working in my own business alongside my fabulous, talented and wonderfully supportive business partner, Kylie. We get to do what we love every day and share the magic of music with so many children and families. I feel truly privileged to foster a love of music and all the benefits this brings with each of my students and families every week. What a great job-so much more like fun than work!” |
